Climax Roofline and Cladding is made from cellular PVC-UE containing no lead or CFC’s. The range is manufactured to be virtually impervious to weather, and to give a long life together with the assurance of being both environmentally friendly, and non-hazardous to health.
The whole product range has been thoroughly tested for colour fastness, stability and durability to prove that performance characteristics will be retained in service. Unlike wood, PVC-UE is also resistant to attack by termites and woodworm and its smooth surface discourages fungus and bacteria growth. The material is very resilient and tolerates everyday knocks and bumps extremely well.
Cellular inner core construction gives vastly better thermal performance compared to timber and many other conventional building materials, having a U value of between 0.06 and 0.1 W/MK.
Climax attention to detail means we always use fixings made of corrosion resistant stainless steel, and every plastic headed pin and nail is colour matched to give perfect finish and appearance.
There is a full range of shapes and sizes including Bull-nose and Square edged profiles, Shiplap, or decorative Scalloped edge designs, all of them in a variety of plain colours or foiled woodgrain providing an authentic wood textured look.
